John “Alex” Alexander Strickling, 22 of Casselberry, Florida passed away in Boynton Beach, Florida on Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on March 9, 1996.
He is survived by his Father: Rich Strickling of Belpre, Ohio; Sister: Cassidy Strickling of Casselberry, Florida; Grandparents: Retha and Forrest Cunningham of Casselberry, Florida and John Strickling of Decatur, Alabama, and Cousin: Ethan, Owen, and Abby Strickling of Athens, Georgia.
Alex was a fun-loving, free-spirited young man who always had a smile on his face. He was a lyricist and a writer. His passion for music, skateboarding, and a good time was inspiring. He was compassionate and spent much of his spare time trying to help others. He had a love for Eastern philosophical beliefs, and he was constantly exploring his purpose in life. Alex will be greatly missed by many and was loved by all he touched.
Friends will be received at the Banfield Funeral Home, 420 W. State Rd. 434 Winter Springs, Florida from 6-7pm. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 with service to follow at 7pm. The service will be officiated by Reverend Tobias Caskey.
