Obituary for Annette Lea Noland
Annette Lea Noland: August 3rd, 1940 – August 16th, 2025
Annette Lea Noland, beloved mother, cherished friend, and prayer warrior, passed away in her home in Longwood, FL on August 16th, 2025, leaving those who knew her in a world that now feels less colorful. She was born in Essex, MD in 1940 to Rodney and Helen Wallace and grew up with her two sisters Margaret (Wallace) Robertson (deceased) and Gerry (Wallace) Capecci (deceased). She graduated from Kenwood High School in 1958 and moved to Central Florida after marrying Michael Noland (deceased) where they raised their three children: Keith Noland (deceased), Lisa (Noland) Gill, of Hampton, GA, and Terry Noland (spouse Lynn Noland) of Schaumburg, IL. She enjoyed all of her summers and holidays she spent with her grandchildren, Tara Gill and Zachary Noland (spouse Dr. Kristen Noland), and her great grandson Tyree West.
She worked and retired from Orange County Public Schools in 2006 following thirty (30) years of service where she met many wonderful people who became lifelong friends. People gravitated toward her because of her kind heart, willingness to help, sage advice and personality.
Annette took special joy and care in living her life to the fullest including spending time with her loved ones, traveling, hanging out with friends, and taking care of her health. She grew in her faith daily through bible study, prayer, service, worship, and fellowship surrounding herself with close friends active in her church community. She believed the Lord blessed and compelled her to follow her passion for helping her community by supporting many charitable organizations through her generosity.
In 2022, Annette moved to Cascade Heights in Longwood, FL where she quickly became immersed into retired living at its best. She met a multitude of new friends, enjoyed playing games, sharing meals (and advice), volunteering in the store, helping the activities director, and exercising. Her life there was full and blessed.
We will celebrate Annette’s life at a Memorial Service on September 20th, 2025 at Sanlando United Methodist Church, located at 1890 W. State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750 at 3:00 PM.
