Obituary for Anthony Joseph Cemoni
Anthony Joseph Cemoni of Winter Springs, Florida, went Home to be with the Lord while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 12th, 2021. Anthony, “Tony”, 76, was born on December 16th, 1944 in Geneva, New York. He is the son of the late Nicholas and Philomena (Bruni) Cemoni.
Tony celebrated 55 years of marriage with his wife Shirley (Horton), in August of this year. He is survived by Shirley, as well as, his three children Cori Bartlett (Cameron Bennett), Aaron Cemoni (Amy) and Lyndsay Mullen. He is the beloved Grandfather to Caitlyn, Dylan, Emma, Andrew, Blake, Luke and Christopher. He is the cherished Great Grandfather to Bentley and Oakley. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph Cemoni, and his sister, Rose Marie “Dolly” Brooks (Edward).

Tony has a huge heart and a giving spirit. He has spent a lifetime giving his time and his love through organizations he was passionate about. While living in Geneva, Tony was a member and also served as President of the Kiwanis Club of Geneva. Tony is a devout Catholic and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Winter Springs, Florida where he is an original member of the St. Stephen Catholic Community Men’s Club. He is also the founding member of the St. Stephen Catholic Community Car Show. He loves playing golf, watching football and baseball while cheering for his favorite teams the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. He also loves watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. His love for children and animals is unequaled. Above all, his pride and joy is his family whom he was present for in so many ways. He built a legacy of love and instilled family values that are unlike any other.

A Catholic mass will be held to honor Tony on December 3rd, 2021 at 1:00pm in the Mary Mother of God Chapel at San Pedro Center, 2400 Dike Road Winter Park, Florida 32792. Committal will occur immediately following the service next door at the Queen of Angels Cemetery Columbarium. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Immediately following the Committal, we will celebrate his life at Dominick’s Restaurant located at 1301 Winter Springs Boulevard Winter Springs, Fl 32708. All friends and family are invited to attend.
