Obituary for Barbara Ann Jarrett
Barbara Jarrett, 88, a resident of Winter Park, passed away peacefully in her home with her son and daughter by her side on February 21st, 2025. Barbara was born on March 13th 1936 to Arthur and Miriam Bennett. She was loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Barbara always put her family first and was a great friend to many. She loved to dance and spend time caring for her dogs. She was member of St Stephen Catholic Church and enjoyed her time with the Women of Wisdom.
Barbara is survived by her son Bardy Austin Jr., her daughter Tina Austin; four grandchildren, Courtney, Derek, Jordyn, and Austin; two sister, Pat Morris, Shirley Thorpe; and one brother, Jimmy Bennett. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Jarrett; brother, William Bennett; sister, Frances Cochran.
Barbara will be laid to rest on Saturday March 1st,2025 at Queen of Angels cemetery in Winter Park, FL.
