Obituary for Barbara Weatherholtz
Barbara “Bobbie” Carnes Weatherholtz

June 12, 1944 to August 19, 2021.
Casselberry Florida.
Barbara Elaine Weatherholtz, who we all knew as “Bobbie”, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 19, 2021, peacefully in Hospice of Advent Health in Winter Park, from Covid-Pneumonia.
She was born on June 12, 1944 in Anderson, SC. She was the daughter of the late Joe Carnes and Josephine Stasney Carnes, and the sister of the late David Carnes of Akron, OH.
Bobbie was a hairstylist for 42 years but had to retire early due to health reasons. In 2006 she caught a virus that attacked her heart. On July 16, 2010, God not only blessed her with a brand new heart, but also with a wonderful brand new family because of the donor, Bret Stutler, 49, of Clarksburg, WV. Because of Bret’s selfless gift, we were able to keep Bobbie around for another 11 years. In those 11 years she lived life to the fullest. Her main love in life was the Lord Jesus Christ, and then all of her family. She was a loving wife to her husband (Glen) of almost 53 years, her two daughters, (Kim and Crystal) and her five grand children.
She was a member of Starlight Baptist Church, of Winter Springs, FL, where she was a loyal servant to the Lord.
Bobby is survived by her husband Glendon Weatherholtz of CasselberryFL, her oldest daughter Kimberly Pflug (Roger) of Longwood,FL, her youngest daughter Crystal Schroeder (John) of Winter Springs, FL and her five grandchildren, Cristen Lewis-Schroeder, Jacob Pflug, Nathan Pflug, Elizabeth Pflug, and Rachel Schroeder, as well as her lifelong friend and Sister-in Law Brenda Keaton Carnes.
Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, the family has decided to not have a public service. We will be having a private family graveside service at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Fl.

Please feel free to leave a comment on a special memory you may have with Bobbie. We know she has blessed so many people with her fun personality and giant loving heart!

All arrangements have been handled through Banfield Funeral Home, Winter Springs, FL
