Obituary for Becky Costello
She was one of the most spirited, helpful people you'd ever meet. If she could lend a hand, bless someone who needed something, or feed someone, she would without a second thought. She had many, many friends and family all over the world. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Becky was preceded in death by her brother Stephen "Hot Rod" Redmon, her daughter Taylor Elizabeth Baker, and her mother Janith Lee Chambless-Boring.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Stephen Costello, daughter Kyla Hulett, sons Brandon Costello (wife, Katie) and Brad Costello. Her brothers Randy Redmon and Britton Chambless, and sister Chris Chambless-Erwin. She also leaves behind many loved cousins, uncle , grandchildren, nieces, grand nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are tentative due to health concerns for all those who loved her during this trying time in the world.
Matthew 6:33-34
"But seek first His Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
A poem to leave you with Becky in your heart:
"Epitaph" by Merritt Malloy
When I die
Give what’s left of me away
To children
And old men that wait to die.
And if you need to cry,
Cry for your brother
Walking the street beside you.
And when you need me,
Put your arms
Around anyone
And give them
What you need to give to me.
I want to leave you something,
Something better
Than words
Or sounds.
Look for me
In the people I’ve known
Or loved,
And if you cannot give me away,
At least let me live in your eyes
And not in your mind.
You can love me most
By letting
Hands touch hands,
By letting
Bodies touch bodies,
And by letting go
Of children
That need to be free.
Love doesn’t die,
People do.
So, when all that’s left of me
Is love,
Give me away.
