Ben Battista , 80 of Winter Park, FL passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his home in Winter Park. He was born May 19, 1937 in Oneonta, NY . He was the son of the late Benedetto Battista and the late Giovanna Battista. He worked as a restaurant owner, and went on to work in heavy equipment and machine sales. Mr. Battista has left behind his Wife: Mickey A. Battista, Two Children: Robert Henriksen and James Payne, 5 Grandchildren. Memorial services will be celebrated at Banfield Funeral Home on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Harvey Carpenter officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of The Comforter at 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 in memory of Ben Battista.
