Beulah Green Ali-Carr born: January 04, 1945 in Clovis, New Mexico passed on July 01, 2024 at Oviedo Memorial Hospital at 6:21PM in Oviedo, Florida.
Beulah (79) passed with her husband Robert, two daughters Tammy and Dawn, her son Jonathan and granddaughter Xylia present by her side. Beulah was cremated and her ashes lay in state with her husband in their home in Winter Springs, Florida.
Beulah was born to Leroy and Jessie B, (Baker) Green in Beulah, Texas. She grew up in Clovis, New Mexico where she graduated from Clovis High School in 1963 where she was a member of the choir. She continued her education at Eastern New Mexico University where she earned her BS degree in Home Economics (1966). While in college, she met her husband who, at the time, was an active member of the U.S. Air Force stationed at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico.
Beulah, an active member with the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority since June 12, 1973. She was one of the first pledgers of lota Xi Omega. In June 2023, she earned her Golden status for 50 years of service. She also served as chapter Grammateus in 1982 and 1983 in Albuquerque, NM. A Life Member, she remained an active chapter member, while living in Florida, of Nu lota Omega South Atlantic Region.
After marrying Robert in June 1964, Beulah enjoyed her life as a military wife, mother, and world traveler (visiting fifty plus countries and living in five). Beulah worked various jobs as she moved from one place to the other which gave opportunity to meet and work with several dignitaries, royalty, and co-workers from around the world. She retired with her husband in Florida in 2011.
She is survived by: Robert T. Ali-Carr, her husband: two daughters; Tammy Ali-Carr and Dawn Ali-Carr; one son Jonathan Ali-Carr; three grandsons Torrence, Dennis, and Houston; one granddaughter Xylia; two loving sisters Maxiline and Laura; five brothers - two whom she was close to Leroy and Joseph; a close cousin of Turkey, Onur Cemil Ayden who considered Beulah his United States mother.
July 1, 2024 will be remembered as a very sad day when Beulah transitioned from this earth and crossed over to meet our maker. It is with great sadness we must say goodbye to a beautiful soul, loving wife and devoted mother. Her kindness, compassionate embrace, and generosity will live on through shared memories and deepest love.
