Obituary for Brandon R. Baker
After a protracted battle with cancer, Brandon Baker passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022, in Lake Mary, FL at the age of 47. He leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Jayden Baker and Brittany Cherry (Caleb); three grandsons, Carter, Thomas, and Christen; his mother, Clarissa Baker; and other family who loved him dearly including, Rose, Jessica, Joe, Emerson, and Joey. He was preceded in death by his father, John Baker.
Brandon was born May 15, 1974, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Clarissa and John Baker. After Brandon graduated from Snider High School in 1992, he went on to study at IPFW. He moved to Florida in 2003 and worked as an Assistant Manager at the University of Central Florida. An avid sports fan, his family will continue to cheer on his beloved Chicago Cubs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Advent Health Foundation – Hospice of Central Florida. His loving smile will be missed every day!
