Obituary for Brian Keith Corton
On Sunday, March 3, 2019 Brian Keith Corton, 63 of Winter Springs, Florida passed into eternal life on his birthday. Born on March 3, 1956 in Baraboo, Wisconsin to Ralph V. and Fern K.(Potter) Corton, Brian grew up near Wisconsin Dells, Wi. He attended Wisconsin Dells Grade and High School as well as working several jobs in the Dells area after school. During this time he met Dawn J. McIntyre who was also working in the Dells. On June 7,1980 Brian and Dawn were married in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where they lived until 1984.
Brian had been managing five Wendy’s stores in the Cedar Rapids area and in 1984 accepted an offer to work for the Wendy’s Corporate offices in Orlando, Florida. Brian later worked for DynaFire, Inc. for several years. Brian enjoyed overcoming challenges and interacting with people…He liked car racing? and loved his Green Bay Packers???…… He valued his family very highly and was always very supportive.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn, and three children: Blake Corton (Jessica DeNichilo), Alicia Atkinson (Joey), and Preston Corton (Jade), brothers Jerry Corton(Marynel) of Barry, Illinois, and Tom Corton(Rose) of Arkdale, Wisconsin and several Wisconsin, aunts, uncles and cousins. Grandchildren include…………….
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Gary Corton, and Robert Corton, and one sister: Laverne(Sis) Huff.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date…..or give them specifics.
