Obituary for Carlin Brooke D'Angelo
“Welcome! Everything is fine.”
On Saturday, October 26, 2019, Carlin Brooke D’Angelo, passed away at age 31, after a 4-year valiant and tenacious battle with metastatic ampullary cancer.
Born on April 14, 1988 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Cliff and Patty (Brooke) D’Angelo, Carlin was a 2006 graduate of Winter Springs High School, received his AA from Seminole State College and was a proud and respected member of the Information Technology team at TradeWeb, Inc. in Lake Mary since July 2015.
Carlin was passionate about many things and everything – programming, gaming, technology and anything electronic. He was a talented techie, known for his ability to customize computers, wireless devices – even a car or two. Carlin acquired an extensive and discriminating collection of vintage records and believed “My world moves at the speed of 33 1/3, can you dig it?” He had a particular taste for Classic Rock, a dignified whiskey and could hold a conversation on just about anything. He was an adventurous gourmand, an audacious old soul and a fiercely loyal friend. But above all, Carlin will be remembered for his infectious personality, a thunderous laugh and cunning wit.
Carlin is survived by his mother and father, Patty and Cliff, sister Alexandra (Ali) of Washington, D.C., brother Cameron of West Virginia and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who already miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his Nani & Poppi (Lee & Carl D’Angelo) and Grandparents Violet Mary Brooke and Donald Brooke. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services; a Celebration of Life is being planned for December 1, 2019. Interment and memorial information will be updated here, as details become available.
Carlin, “You are here because you lived one of the very best lives that could be lived. You’re not just in The Good Place. You’re in The Best Place.”
This is the Celebration he would’ve planned.
So we shall celebrate Carlin’s life the way he would’ve wanted.
