Obituary for Carmen Martinez
Carmen Martinez, known by her family as “Mimi” passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 85 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a talented seamstress with an eternal love of life and was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Carmen’s pride was her family and being the glue that kept it all together. She was a pioneer, whose tenacity and hard work built a home that welcomed anyone whose journey started in this country. She taught us to give more than what we have and with kindness and love all is possible.
Carmen is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces, and nephews. She will forever be in our hearts.
