Obituary for Charles Franklin Stiwalt
Charles Franklin Stiwalt, Sr. (Butch), age 63, of Lake Mary, FL passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from medical issues. He was born in Gastonia, NC to the late Betty Biondo and Theodore Stiwalt.
Charles is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marlene, and his son, Charles F. Stiwalt, Jr. He was a caring and loving husband, father, uncle, and friend who always tried to find humor in any situation and he was always ready to seize the day.
A Miami, FL resident since 1966, he relocated to the Orlando area in August 1979 when he accepted a position as a computer field service tech with Texas Instruments. He has continued working in this field and has been employed by the same company, now Idemia, since 2004. Butch was passionate about his work, had very strong work ethics, and “always” did what was best for “the team”.
He was a long time attender of Northland, A Church Distributed, where he volunteered with congregational services and for the last 11 years with weekend hospitality. His real joy was in serving the worship team, pastors, and techs his famous omelettes. But what he found most rewarding was the love and appreciation he always received from everyone.
Donations can be made in his memory to Northland, A Church Distributed, 530 Dog Track Road, Longwood, FL 32750.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Northland Church on June 2nd, at 11am.
