Obituary for Charles Leon Adair

On Thursday October 21,2022, Charles L. Adair, a beloved husband, father, Grandfather and mentor, went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born in Dermontt, Arkansas to Doris and Earnest Adair, August 25,1927, he was 95.

Charles “Coach” Adair served in the United States Navy. He went on to play football at Arkansas A&M, earn his Bachelors of Science at Henderson State College and his Masters Degree from George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University.

Coach Adair, took his first teaching and coaching position in Osceola Arkansas, this is where he met his wife Nancy of 68 years.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, his children, Phillip, Cullen, Tracy and Lynn. Daughters in law, Linda and Cindy and Son in law Mike Beavers. Charles also known as PaPa, is survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and preceded in death by his son Robin Adair and grandson Matthew Moran.

Coach Charles L. Adair, is revered by his players for his mentorship and passion for the game of football. He will forever be remembered for the love of his family and friends .
