Obituary for Christian Guy Payer
On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Christian Guy Payer, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 51. Christian was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 12, 1967. His parents relocated the family to South Florida in 1976 where Christian attended high school at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Christian attended college at Florida State University, Graduating with Honors with Degrees in Business and Finance as well as his Juris Doctorate. Throughout his career as an attorney, Christian worked at several prestigious law firms and proudly founded Payer Law Group in Central Florida, in 1999.
Christian was active in the Central Florida community for over 20 years, serving on charitable boards at Winnie Palmer Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Central Florida Roman Catholic Archdiocese, and the Orlando Orthopedic Center Foundation. Christian attended church regularly at St. Stephens Catholic Church.
Christian was always ready for any adventure including riding four-wheelers, racing jet skis, boating, mountain biking, fishing, snow skiing, SCUBA diving, golfing, and traveling. He loved spending time with his beloved family and could often be found on the weekends coaching his son’s sports’ teams, making brownies with his daughter, or at the barn supporting his wife’s passion for horses.
Christian is survived by his wife Kimberly, his children Garrett and Gemma, his parents Claudette and Roland, his brother James, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at St. Stephens Catholic Church on Tuskawilla at 11 o’clock a.m. Flowers can be sent to Banfield Funeral Home & Crematory.
