Obituary for Costandi ""Costi" James Hinn
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our precious son, Costandi “Costi” James Hinn., who died on November 24, 2021 at his home in Debary , Florida at the age of 35.
Costi was born at Mt. Sinai hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was raised in Lake Mary, Florida and attended the Masters academy during elementary school. He played soccer for TMA where his father, Christopher, was one of his coaches. He was a student at Crooms Cyber High School in Sanford, Florida and graduated from Christiam Victory Academy in Orlando, Florida. He received many certifications of technology during his studies at Crooms. He was an avid gamer and was a Sony Beta tester. He studied international relations at George Mason university in
Fairfax, Virginia. During his time at GMU, he was a member of the CRU campus ministries and traveled abroad on missions trips such as Morocco.
Costi learned to fly on a flight simulator at a young age and was able to pilot a plane over Jerusalem, Israel at the age of 12. He flew out of Sanford airport in later years. One of his greatest dreams was to become a Christian aviator helping missionaries get to the mission field.
He was a talented artist and writer. Costi could talk to anyone at any level. He was a brilliant, creative, and always inquisitive person. His love of history always kept him learning. Listening to him speak of history made you want to know more. His nickname was “Frosty”.
His greatest love was sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. Nothing compared to his love for God. It was his passion to share Christ. He gave great big hugs and lots of encouragement. Costi could talk about any subject and was quite the intellectual. He would do anything he could to help anyone. He had a generous heart. And, he did the best Christopher Walken imitation you’ve ever seen. He loved people and his plan was to become an advocate for the mentally ill. Costi had a lot of hopes and dreams. He was a young man of vision. He is now with His Savior and filled with joy!!
Costi is survived by his father Christopher N. Hinn and his wife, Jenna of Lake Mary, Florida; his mother and stepdad , Karen and Ross Jantzi of Connellsvile,Pennsylvania; his sisters, Ashton Thompkins of Apopka, Florida; Tori Hinn of Brooklyn , New York and brother in law, Brent Thompkins of Apopka, Florida.
