Obituary for Cynthia P. Delong
On Thursday, July 4, 2019, Cynthia Pearl DeLong, loving mother of three children, passed away at age 60, in Longwood, FL.
Cynthia was born on March 19, 1959 in Syracuse, NY. She was an avid coffee drinker, talented artist, lover of cats, and wonderful friend, mother, grandmother and partner.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann DeLong, father Alden Jay Hancock, sisters Sandy and Sharron, and brothers Junior and Al. She is survived by her long-time partner of 26 years, Donald Tedford Jr. of Casselberry, FL; her children Lisa Marie Gould of Weedsport, NY; Lee Schroeppel DeLong III of Deland, FL; and Jamie Lee DeLong of Kissimmee, FL; her former spouse Lee DeLong Jr. of Stephentown, NY; along with three grandsons, two brothers, one sister, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and step-siblings.
Cremation services will be provided by Banfield Funeral Home & Crematory. She will then be brought home to NY where she’ll be laid to rest. Flowers or donations may be sent to 1180 Helen St., Casselberry, FL 32708.
