Daniel Douglas Riess, 61, of Longwood, Florida passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Reading, Massachusetts on July 21, 1961. He lived in New Hampshire for most of his life before relocating to Central Florida. He was a graduate of Pelham High School, Class of 1979. He was a certified pipe welder and a skilled tradesman. Dan loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, classic cars, motorcycles, and racing of all sorts. He had a larger than life personality, a passion for story telling, and enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 38 years Barbara Riess (Bolduc). His daughter Shannon Fox (Riess), husband Shawn Fox, and their son Cameron. His son Derek Riess, wife Taylor Riess (Drosky), their daughter Paislee, and son Maverick.
His loved ones would appreciate if you could share any photos or fond memories of him to help keep his one of a kind spirit alive.
The Family will be holding a celebration of life on September 4, 2022 from 12pm-3pm at
