Obituary for David Johnson
With deepest sorrow, we announce that David Wayne Johnson, age 41, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to all, lost his battle to COVID on May 12, 2021.
Those who knew David, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He was a dedicated truck driver and mulch guru. David’s passion for woodworking was inherited from his grandfather. He shared his talents in the crafting group at St. Stephen’s Church. David was a loyal, honest, down to earth protector to all who were dear to him.
David will be missed everyday by his Father Art Johnson, his Mother Debora Johnson, his brothers Chris and Richard Johnson, his Sister-In-Law, Erin Johnson and his nieces and nephew, Haileigh, Landon and Kayla Johnson.
We know David is now flying high, free of pain, accompanied by his Grandfathers Rafael Cardenas and Arthur Johnson, Grandmothers Mercedes Faye Cardenas and Clarice Johnson and friends, Howie and J.R.
Here on earth and in heaven we will remember your name, we will cherish the memories and love you the same.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to get a memorial bench in David’s honor. If you would like to be a part of the cause, please visit https://everloved.com/life-of/david-wayne-johnson/
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00pm at St. Stephens Catholic Church located at 575 Tuskawilla Rd, Winter Springs, FL 32708 followed by the burial which will be held at All Faiths Cemetery.
