Obituary for Denise Lynn App
Denise Lynn Mester was born in Princess Bay, Staten Island, New York on August 8, 1963 the oldest child of Joseph V. Mester and Barbara A. Mester (Stauff). She grew up and lived in Edison, New Jersey and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1971. Denise graduated from Cross Keys High School in 1981 where she was active on the drill team, sang in the Choral Singers and played softball. She worked for Food Giant Grocery Stores, and as a manager for Post Apartments in Atlanta. She attended the University of Georgia. Denise moved to Altamonte Springs, Florida in 1983 where she started working in the automobile industry at first in sales and then as an automotive parts manager. Denise worked more than 35 years in the automobile industry. She served on the National Audi Parts Council from 2009-2014. Her duties required her to travel throughout the United States and Europe. She had a passion for travel having visited countries throughout Europe and Africa. Denise was extremely generous and thoughtful. She enjoyed shopping and often spent many hours finding gifts for relatives and friends sometimes years in advance. She was strong supporter of charities but especially the Christian Sharing Center in Longwood, Florida. Denise was an avid University of Georgia football fan who loved the Bulldogs. Survivors include her husband Timothy C. App, son Christopher Todd Mester, Mother, Barbara Ann Mester, Uncle Douglas Francis Mester, Brothers Mark Vincent Mester and David Andrew Mester, niece Sarah Olivia Mester and granddaughter Mallory Grace Mester.
