Obituary for Diana Dienesch
Diana Wolter Dienesch passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the age of 88. She was a cherished Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She leaves behind a son: Thomas E. Curran, daughter: Karen Dienesch-Calamari, daughter-in-law: Darlene Curran, son-in-law: George Calamari and an adopted family of Michael & Brenda Schweitzer. She was a very proud grandmother to Alexandra, April, Carrie, Jennifer, Kelly, Ryan and Samantha and Great Grandmother To Austin, Kane, Mya, Ryan, and Savannah. Diana was born in Hahn, Germany and emigrated to America as an infant with her parents. She was very proud that she became a naturalized citizen. She worked as a secretary for Kodak and in the travel business with her husband during her varied career. Diana was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years Fred. Diana never really recovered from the loss of Fred in 2016, and in many ways, she died of a broken heart. She will always be remembered for her fashion sense, she never left the house without being put together and lipstick and earrings were a must! She was independent and fearless, she loved to laugh, she was a loyal friend and loving mother who made every holiday extra special. We have peace in knowing that Fred and Diana are together again.
