Donald Ray Holton Sr, 88 of Apopka, Florida went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Donald Ray Holton Sr was born on February 17,1933 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He grew up on a farm southwest of Reynolds, Illinois. Donald enlisted in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, Donald meet Dorothy and they got married in Gulfport, Florida on June 1,1954. Donald retired after 20 years of service in the Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He then went to work for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier, where he also retired.
Donald was preceded by his wife Dorothy; parents, Ray Holton and Mildred L. Heath; brothers, Kenneth D. Holton, Jimmy Holton; sisters, Doris L. Millett, Shirley A. Holton and son, Donald Ray Holton Jr. Donald is survived by brother Frederick Holton; children, Stephen Dale Holton, Cheryl Ann DeRogatis: grandchildren, Donald Ray Holton III, Anthony DeRogatis Jr, Alissa Kaitlyn Holton; great grandchildren, Jeremy Holton and Oaklyn Grayce Noble.
Funeral service will be held at Palm Spring Drive Baptist Church, January 3, 2022 at 10:00 am. Pastor Scott Carlson Officiant
