Obituary for Dr. Frank Joseph Pisciotta Jr.
Dr. Frank Joseph Pisciotta Jr. passed away February 6, 2024, at the age of 77 in Altamote Springs, Florida, after a long battle with illness.
Dr. Pisciotta was born in the Bronx, NY To Frank & Mollie Pisciotta.
Frank earned multiple degrees over the years, including multiple Masters degrees and a doctorate in theology from GMU.
Frank worked tirelessly as an educator for the NYC Board of Education for over 35 years.
In 2013, Frank joined Maryknoll Mission institute and would begin what would become his life's work. As a member of the GMU Board of Directors, he greatly contributed to the future of global ministry in Africa.
Frank’s first love was music. Not only was he an accomplished pianist, but Frank's voice echoed from New York all the way to Florida as a vocalist in many choirs.
May his spirit inspire all those he touched in his life.
