Obituary for Duane Keith Shackelford
Duane Shackelford, age 61, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Duane was born July 19, 1963 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. He was a graduate of Lake Brantley High School. Duane, as he would say, was a simple man. All he needed was his family, friends, some golf on the weekend, maybe a Cleveland Browns win, and a job to go back to come Monday. Duane left a lasting impression on the Central Florida homebuilding industry in his nearly 40-year professional career. Duane was predeceased in death by his father, Gary Shackelford, and his brother, Dean Shackelford. He is survived by his mother Charlene Shackelford; brother Steve Shackelford; sons and daughter-in law, James, Jacob & Jessica, John, and Jesse; nephew, Matthew; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
