Edward “Ed” H. Cregar passed away in Winter Park, Florida on Saturday, October 14, 2023 with his family by his side. Ed was born June 16, 1942 in Laurel Park, New York to Hamilton and Grace Cregar. He graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon School in 1960 and Stetson University in 1965 with Bachelors in Accounting. On October 28, 1967, Ed married Pat and they welcomed their only child, Christine three years later. Over the next 30 years, they lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts and South Carolina. Ed was the Director of International Finance for Warner Lambert in Southbridge, Massachusetts and retired in 2001 as Director of Finance and Logistics for Pfizer in Greenwood, South Carolina. After retiring in 2001, Ed and Pat moved to Winter Springs, Florida to be near their daughter and her family, to enjoy the beautiful weather and play a little golf. Ed was a member St. Stephen Catholic Community and was active in St. Stephen Men’s Club for many years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pat, his daughter Christine Lemieux, son-in-law Dr. Peter Lemieux and grandchildren Lauren Lemieux and Jacob Lemieux.
Visitation will be at Banfield Funeral Home, 420 West State Rd 434 in Winter Springs on Sunday October 22, 2023 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
