Obituary for Edward Robert Lezotte, Sr.
Edward Lezotte (better known as Ed) was born on November 23rd, 1934 and passed away on January 5th, 2020. He married the love of his life, Judy, on July 9th, 1960 after a five-year courtship. The newlyweds moved to Upstate New York and started a family.
Ed and Judy raised four great kids. Kevin-Michael, Charleen, Eddie Jr and Douglas. He also leaves behind four amazing grandchildren. Kiley, Kandy, Logan and Caitlyn.
He was an Electrical Engineer and worked for several Connecticut companies, moving up to manage a team of engineers at a Power & Gas company.
Ed and Judy retired to Orlando Florida, which was their dream, in 1996. Their two oldest children were already here and then the two youngest followed.
Ed and Judy focused on creating the beautiful “doll house” that she had always wanted and reveled in watching their children grow, flourish and start their own families.
Judy passed away July 19, 2019. They’d just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.
Ed and Judy are now together again, watching over their family, holding hands and smiling.
