Obituary for Edwin G. McFall, Jr.
Edwin Garner McFall Jr, 64, of Oviedo, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, after a battle with cancer. Edwin was born on December 31, 1957, to Edwin and Janice McFall in Conway, SC. Growing up in a military family, Edwin moved extensively and had resided in Florida, California, Ohio, and Germany. He graduated from Satellite High School, Satellite Beach, Fl. He received an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from Seminole College, beginning a 30+ year career helping those in his community.
Ed was known for his sharp wit and fantastic sense of humor. He could always make a room laugh, even at the most inappropriate moments. In his free time, Ed was an auto enthusiast and enjoyed working on his many cars (especially his 1972 Dodge Challenger), listening to classic rock, and was an avid sports fan and gamer. Ed will mostly be remembered for being an extraordinary father.
He is survived by his mother, Janice McFall; Son, Alexander LaFlam-McFall; Sister, Lisa McFall; Niece, Katherine McFall-Samarjia. Preceding him in death was his father, Edwin Garner McFall Sr.
The family requests in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Moffitt Cancer Center or The American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Banfield Funeral Home.
