Obituary for Frances LoFaso

Frances "Fran" LoFaso, age 93, of Celebration, Florida, was called to her eternal home on January 19, 2024, in Orlando, FL. She was born on May 19, 1930, in Buffalo, NY. Fran, known for her strong minded and determined nature, will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.


Fran was a dedicated OB-GYN Nurse Assistant throughout her career, providing compassionate care to those in need. She touched the lives of many patients and their families with her selflessness and commitment.


In her free time, Fran enjoyed playing bingo and cards, but especially cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love, and laughter.


Fran is survived by her sister, Delores “Dee” Matthews, her sons Joseph (Eileen) and Vincent Jr (Cheryl), her daughters RoseMarie (Rick) Slade, Franette (Greg) Iwanski, Michelle (Nicole) LoFaso, and Darleen (Peter) Ronca, grandchildren Laurie Seithel, Justin Clark, Jennifer White, Jillian Facella, Holly La Rosa, Brooke Eagle, Joseph LoFaso Jr, Paige Stewart, Alexis Craig, Zachary Slade, Carter Ronca, Erin LoFaso and 14 great-grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent.


A funeral service to honor Fran's life will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo, Florida. The Banfield Funeral Home in Winter Springs, FL, is assisting with the arrangements.


Fran's faith was an important part of her life, and she worshipped at Most Precious Blood and Corpus Christi Catholic Parishes. Her devotion to her beliefs brought her comfort and strength throughout her journey.


We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Fran LoFaso during this difficult time. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
