Obituary for Francis Xavier Kingston Jr.
Francis “Frank” “Franny” Xavier Kingston, Jr. passed away on October 22, 2025, at AdventHealth Daytona Beach during a heart procedure. He was 54 years old.
Frank will be remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, and the way he brought people together. He was often the one to plan gatherings and outings, and his family and friends could always count on him to be there. His laughter, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Frank was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 10, 1971, and was raised in Framingham. He was the firstborn child of Francis Kingston, Sr. and Tina Kingston, a devoted brother to Sheilamarie Kingston, and a proud uncle to Aidan Kingston.
Although Frank did not have children of his own, he lovingly embraced his bonus son, Alex, as family.
He was proud to call Framingham home and cherished the many lifelong friendships he built there. Frank attended Framingham South High School, enjoyed football and basketball, and was a loyal fan of the New England Patriots.
Anyone who knew Frank knew he was no stranger to hard work. Over the years, he often held multiple jobs at once and took pride in giving his best to everything he did. Most recently, he was employed with Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, a position he truly enjoyed. He valued the many colleagues who made his workplace feel like family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Daneka Hillery Kingston; his mother, Tina Kingston; his sister, Sheilamarie Kingston; his nephew, Aidan; and his bonus son, Alex.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Kingston, Sr.
Frank also leaves behind a host of extended family members and in-laws who will remember his humor, kindness, and love for life.
Frank was a good man with a wonderful sense of humor and a deep devotion to his family. He was cremated by Banfield Funeral Home and Crematory in Winter Springs, Florida, and memorialized in Sanford, Florida, on November 1, 2025.
In keeping with his wishes, his loved ones gathered for an informal celebration of his life, sharing memories and honoring him in the way he desired. His final wishes were lovingly carried out by his wife, mother, sister, and nephew.
