Obituary for George Longobardo
George A. Longobardo passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 peacefully at his home in Winter Springs, FL. He was 88 years old.
George was a loving husband and father who loved making everyone smile through his music and dancing.
George was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran. He was retired from the City of New York highway department, as well as the United States Mint in West Point.
He is survived by his wife Madeline Longobardo of 62 years, three daughters, Karen Longobardo, Susan Westfall-Weck, and Mary Fromkorth, his sister Anna Grandowski, 6 grandchildren, David Westfall and his wife Wendy, Nicole Schneiter and her husband Jason, Linda Westfall and her significant other Joey, Michelle Sinclair and her husband Jonathan, Samantha Weck, and Danielle Weck. He was a proud great grandfather of 7. Bradley, Anthony, Janie, Mackenzie, Rosalie, Abigail, and Gabriella. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at the Banfield Funeral Home. 420 W. State Road 434, Winter Springs, FL 32708. Service to immediately follow.
