Gerald (Jerry) Paul Sexton, 88

Jerry was born on July 23, 1931 in Scituate, MA. He was a veteran of the Air Force before moving to Miami, Florida where he began a career at Eastern Airlines retiring after 32 years of service. Jerry raised two sons with his wife Evelyn June Sexton of 51 years. He was an avid fan of bowling and golf and enjoyed the beach, fishing, canoeing and walking trails. In his later years, he resided in Port St. Lucie Florida where his hobbies included bird watching, growing sunflowers, gardening, crafting birdhouses, walking sticks, and his locally well-known woodpecker door knockers. He is survived by his two sons James and Jerry Sexton, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A private family service will be scheduled in memoriam at Florida National Cemetery.
