Obituary for Gloria Ann Metz
On September the 5th, 1932 the world was blessed with Gloria Ann
(Conrad) Metz. On July the 31st, 2025 she was called home to be with her
husband and to be with God. In those almost 93 years of life, we got
to know such a kind and beautiful soul, who we loved and who loved
us. We laughed with her, we cried with her, we spent precious
moments with her that we will never forget. She was a great Wife,
Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by children, Steve Metz (Kim), Bob Metz (Ann) & Patty Akers.
She lived a life of much adventure,
she was a local model in Ohio, active PTA member. She loved to
engage in a variety of high skill level competitions like, Bowling, Golf,
and Cards. She was a very loving mother figure who many wished
they would have had when growing up. She parented her loving
children along with her wonderful husband of 70 years. In 1983 they
both decided to move from Ohio to Florida where they spent the
reminder of their lives making the best family one could make. We
remember Gloria for what she gave us and who she was her whole
life, and we will never forget her or the impact she had on so many of
us. We will miss her but at she’s with Ernie, her loving husband, now.
