Obituary for Haven Baker
Haven W. Baker, 85, Winter Springs FL, formerly of Kokomo, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born December 7, 1933, in Pittsburgh PA, to George and Pauline Baker. On February 4, 1961, he married Sondra M. Roe, who survives.
Haven served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service. Much of his Kokomo time was spent flying his Cessna 172 airplane on fishing trips and for family pleasure. He also enjoyed sailing in Indiana, Florida and the Virgin Islands. In addition to his wife, Sondra Baker, he is survived by two sons, Bart Baker and wife, Wendy, Sanford, FL, and Bradley Baker and wife, Patty, Wixom, MI, and five grandchildren; Elizabeth Baker, Victoria Baker, Lauren Baker, Meredith Baker, and Evan Baker. Haven was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George Baker, Jr. and David Baker.
