Obituary for Helen A. Kasten
Helen Kasten, 89, devoted Wife and Mother passed away peacefully at Regents Park Nursing Home in Winter Park Florida on March 3, 2012. Helen was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey and worked for Western Electric for many years. She enjoyed golfing, decorating, sewing, crocheting and scrapbooking. Â She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Kasten in 2001. After they married, they moved to Middletown, New Jersey to raise their family and in 1978 they retired to Longwood, Florida. Over the years, they enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and visiting with their children and grandchildren. Helen eventually moved to Winter Springs, Florida after her husband passed away.Â
Surviving are Helens four loving children: Robert of Houston TX, Nancy Jamieson and her husband Robert of Winter Springs FL, Richard and his wife Barbara of Brick NJ, Raymond and his wife Kathy of Marietta, GA. Helens sister Emily Cullin and brother Billy Bojarsky. Helen is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, Jennifer, Lara, Ryan, Brett, Kara, Court, Kimberly Carly, Taylor, Austin, Braden, Colin, Megan, and Hudson. Â
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012, at 10:00am at Banfield Funeral Home, 420 West State Road, 434, Winter Springs, Florida, 32708.  Messages of condolences can be sent to
