Obituary for Henry James Ramplin, Jr.
Henry (Harry) J. Ramplin Jr, 58 passed on to his heavenly home Monday, August 15, 2022.
He was born June 8, 1964. He was the son of the late Henry (Harry) Ramplin, and Edith Rickman, along with Esther Ramplin, stepmom of 30 years. The beloved brother of Susan Akey, husband Fred and son Joshua. Ruth Ramplin, daughters Christina DiStefano, husband Guy, children Katheryn, Sophia, Benjamin and Genevieve. April Shepard, husband James (Jeep) and son Collin. Jennifer McLemore, husband Matt and daughter MacKenzie. George Ramplin, wife Karen and sons Ryan, wife Meagan, daughter Natalie, and Kyle Ramplin.
Harry was a salesman, and ran printing shops. He enjoyed racing, and was a true “Gear Head”, and could fix anything to include building his own motorized bicycle. He was a craftsman, working with wood and drawing in his spare time. He enjoyed College Football Saturdays, and his Gators. He followed the Philadelphia EAGLES with his whole heart, and he always enjoyed having a good time with friends and family. He loved his dog Louie. He lived by his word, and enjoyed life.
For those who called him brother, he always made us laugh, and he hated his birthday, which we always celebrated. Hospitals were not his favorite place to be, and he was known for just walking out even in the hospital Johnny coat. He was always willing to talk and help you in any way he could.
For those who called him Uncle, he was always fun loving and enjoyed bantering endlessly. He was interested in how and what they were doing, and teased them often.
For those who knew and helped Harry, we THANK YOU for all you did to make his life better, and to have him with us longer. He will be missed by all!
