Henry Martin was born October 14, 1945 of the late Henry Lee Martin Sr. and Louise Satsuma Hall Martin in Medina, Ohio. He graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio. Henry also graduated from Akron State University, in Akron Ohio. Henry dedicated his life and was baptized at the age of 16 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Henry was an avid CB’er and was known around the world as Boogie Man, because he loved to dance.
Henry married Carolyn Baccus September 2, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio after meeting at a District Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. They relocated to Florida in 1979.
Henry was preceded in death by his father Henry Lee Martin Sr, mother Louise Satsuma Hall Martin, his sisters Bernice Scott, Evelyn Porter, great grandson Ronald Sanders.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Martin, children; Melanie (Raymond) Burr San Antonio Texas, Courtenay (Breanne) Martin Columbus Ohio, April Martin Akron Ohio, Kameko Martin Oviedo Florida, Leticia Martin Oviedo Florida. . Brothers; Ronald Hall Martin (Sandra) Sanford Florida, Reginald Hall Martin (Jeanette) Sanford Florida.
Grandchildren – Raymond Burr Jr, Monique Burr, Dante(Delfina) Langston, Bryan Burr, Brittney Burr, Brandon Burr, Tierra Martin, Daelin Newton, Victor Martin, Marcelo Martin, Tyli Martin, Kai Martin, Rory Martin, Xenia Sirmans, Aiyana Sirmans, Robert Prince, Je’lena Prince, Jayden Cornelius, Raquan George, Kylee George.
