Jack Roy Frankenberger 07/16/34-05/14/18
Jack, admired and loved by all who knew him, passed away at his home in Casselberry, Florida after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Louisville, KY and grew up in Newark, NJ where he met and married his wife of 58 years, Joan Reilly. Jack served in the US Army and the National Guard before moving with his wife and seven children to Central Florida in 1971.
The family owned and operated Brandywines Deli in Winter Park for 40 years, until it's closing in 2012. Jack was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, an avid traveler who enjoyed fishing and golf. Above all, he was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his children; Denise (Stephen) Allen, Terry (Robbin) Bigelow, Johnny (Kathleen) Frankenberger, Karen Jones, Nancy Hidde, Michael (Patty) Frankenberger and Christine (David) Deal, his sisters Ruth Killinger and Jane Conn, his brother Dave Frankenberger, nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Joan, his daughter Susan, his parents Roy and Christine Frankenberger, and his sister, Mary Earl Freudenberger.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Any offerings in his memory should be made to Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Fl.
