Obituary for Jacob R. Rudolph
Jacob was born on December 13, 1986 in Winter Park, FL and passed on August 18, 2021 in Oviedo, FL.
He was a charismatic, happy and rambunctious boy who was always willing to give a hug. Jacob never turned down an opportunity to tease and play tricks on his family. He grew up in Oviedo and attended Oviedo High School, where he played football. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History at UCF.
Jake and Jess married in November of 2012 and welcomed their two daughters in 2015 and 2017. Emma and Briar are Daddy’s girls in their own unique ways and look up to him as their hero that could do or fix anything. Jake and Jess’ love for a good DIY project landed them a home in the Black Hammock neighborhood of Oviedo in 2016, where many friends and family have given their time to renovating. He rarely turned down a chance to go fishing on his boat; that was a “happy place” for him.
He explored various career paths until he landed his dream job, working for CES as a Project Manager. Jake’s hard work was greatly recognized and appreciated during his time there.
Jake is survived by his wife, Jessica, and their two daughters, Emma and Briar, his parents Nanette and Gary (Jennifer), his siblings Jesse (Whitney) and Amy (Anthony), his nieces and nephews Aiden, Felicity, Kinsley, Gunner, Bristol and Landry, along with countless family and friends.
Jake was a devoted son, a lovingly annoying brother and a selfless husband and father. He will forever be on our minds and in our hearts.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church (113 Lockwood Blvd, Oviedo, FL 32765) on Saturday, September 4th at 11am with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Mud Hole Custom Tackle, Inc. (1027 Component Loop, Oviedo, FL 32765).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Jessica Rudolph and will be placed in the Jacob Rudolph Memorial Fund through Fairwinds Credit Union.
