Obituary for James Patrick Casey
James "Jim or Jimmy" Patrick Casey was born August 29th 1963 in Warminster Pennsylvania. He passed away on December 4th 2023 in Maitland Florida after a year long decline in his health. Jim was taken from us too soon at only 60 years of age.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Maribel Herrera and her children and grandchildren, his daughter, Jacqueline Casey, his son James Tyler "JT" Casey, his four sisters Loretta Allen and her husband Chuck Allen, Catherine Gray, Maureen Kugler and her husband Andy Kugler, Maryellen Anderson and her husband Brian Anderson, sister-in-law Elia Grubbs and her husband Bill Grubbs, many nieces,nephews, cousins, dear friend Deb Parsons, many beloved friends, and extended family members.
Jim was predeceased by his Father, James Patrick Casey Sr., Mother Catherine Mary Gray Casey, who were both from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Jim's career path followed all facets of construction starting in Pennsylvania and ending in Florida as his final destination. He accomplished himself as a hard-working Skilled Craftsman. Jim had a passion for people, helping them do renovations or restorations to their homes. He had a great sense of humor and surrounded himself with family and friends, conversation and laughter, always celebrating the moment with dancing, enjoying food, and cherishing the warm embrace of loved ones.
Jim married Maribel who is from Chile almost 14 years ago. They traveled many times to Chile sharing adventures with extended family that brought mutual love and happiness.
A Mass of Remembrance is being held Saturday December 9th 10 AM at Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church Altamonte Springs, Florida.
