Obituary for Jay Lee Noble

Jay Lee Noble, (age 61) of Winter Park, Florida, died at home of Stage 4 Lung Cancer July 30, 2026.

Jay was born in Kettering, Ohio in 1965 to Robert and Norma Noble. He loved his big brother, Randy and his Hot Wheels and financed his record collection by mowing the neighbors’ lawns. As an adult, he often stated that he had the perfect childhood.

Before finding his way to Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts and earning his audio engineering certificate in 1987, he worked for Baskin Robbins, Home Depot, as a bank teller, Disney Swan Boat Skipper, for a talent agency and assigned to “The Gap Band” and a freelance voiceover talent. In other words, Jay could do anything really well, no matter the job.

Once landing at Full Sail, he stayed. As the Vice President of Alumni Relations, his service and mentorship to countless students and graduates over the course of 38+ years will forever be remembered. His legacy of goodness and undivided attention toward each individual human that he met, has impacted and changed lives across the planet.

Jay is survived by his mother, Norma; father, Bob; brother and his sister-in-law Randy and Kelly, and his wife, Tammy.

In lieu of flowers and if you so desire, a donation can be made to one of Jay’s recommended charities:

World Central Kitchen

Best Friends Animal Society
