Obituary for Jeff Zmigrodski
Jeffery Thomas Zmigrodski passed away in Oviedo, Florida on August 17th 2017 at the age of 40. Jeffery is survived by his loving wife, Audra Newbury Zmigrodski and his two children, Abigail Grace and Andrew Kenneth, along with his four-legged son, Patton.
He leaves behind his parents, Tom and Maggie, his four brothers Ben, Michael, David and Scott, and his in-laws, John, Eileen, KJ, Stephanie, Jen, Paul, Mike, Rose, Tara, Becky, Kristen and Audrey. He was loved as an uncle by his nieces and nephew, Waverly, Madison, Gia, Shelby, Morgan, Lexi, John, Angelina and Emily and he will be deeply missed by the many friends that he considered to be part of his ever growing family.
Jeff was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on February 19th 1977. He was blessed to come into this world with his best friend and twin brother, Ben. Jeff’s parents loved and supported him throughout his life. They instilled in him the values of family, compassion and humor. Their guidance, led him down the path to the man he would become.
Jeff was one of five brothers. Through each stage of their lives their bond grew. Even as life moved them geographically further apart, they remained inseparable.
Jeff was an accomplished musician. He inherited his love of music from his father, developed it with his brothers and shared it with the countless special people who entered his life.
Jeff had the innate ability to walk into a room of strangers, and in just a few moments, fill that same room with new friends. He cared deeply about others and went out of his way to make sure everyone enjoyed life as much as he did. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do for someone else. Jeff saw the world clearly, and his advice, whether solicited or not, was always on point. He wanted the best for the people he loved, and the people he loved were many.
In 2001 Jeffery met the love of his life. In Audra, he found his soulmate, his confidant and his best friend. Together they built a home that was filled with love, music, laughter and a meticulously manicured lawn. Jeff was accomplished in many things, but above all were his abilities as a husband and father.
His family was his world. Jeff helped coach his daughter’s little league team, told her of the endless adventures of Princess Abby and Curious George, and made sure that she knew that she was strong enough to conquer anything. To his son, he was a hero. A dad who could help him catch lizards and frogs, make him laugh like no one else and settle all his fears. Jeff loved to cook, not just to showcase his incredible abilities in the kitchen, but to make sure that each day his family would have a reason to come together.
He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Please help us celebrate his life. Share your stories, your photos and your experiences of a truly exceptional person.
