Jennie Huerta, 98, formerly of Glen Burnie, Maryland and Winter Springs, Florida peacefully passed away on October 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Roseto, Pennsylvania on July 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Luisa Capobianco. Jennie worked in the garment industry as a collar setter for a few years. She married Gilbert Huerta and moved to Glen Burnie, Maryland where she worked as a clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles for 22 years. In 1994 she moved to Winter Springs, Florida to be closer to family. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kwiatkowski, and her husband Thomas, son Jeffrey Huerta and three grandsons, Daniel his wife Melissa, Douglas and his wife Hannah, and Kevin and 7 great grandchildren, Camden, Lilly, Lincoln, Lawson, Aria, Aaron, and Aspyn. Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert, grandson Jason, and 13 brothers and sisters. Her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were precious and joyous to her during her lifetime. She enjoyed shopping, cooking Italian meals, playing Rummikub and Bunco with her family and friends. Per her request, her ashes are to be interred next to her husband, a World War II military veteran in Crownsville, Maryland.
