Obituary for John C. Cieplinski
John Charles Christopher Cieplinski, 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, November 3, 2019 surrounded by his wife, Anna-Marie and his children.
John was born on November 8, 1947 in The Bronx, New York. He married on September 19, 1970 and over the next 9 years they lived in Brooklyn; had two children and moved to Staten Island, New York and had one more.
He worked for Ma Bell in New York and transferred to Southern Bell in Florida where it became Bell South. After retiring from Bell South, John became a certified motorcycle riding instructor in the state of Florida.
John is preceded in death by his father, Walter Cieplinski, his mother, Dorothy Cieplinski and a brother, Peter Ross.
In addition to his wife, Anna, John is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Christine Hulse (Todd), a son, Anthony Michael Cieplinski ,a daughter, Adrienne Marie Cieplinski, a sister, Lila B. Johnston (Richard), aunts, uncles and cousins near and far, but his proudest accomplishment were his beautiful granddaughters, Anna Lee Cieplinski, Evelyn Marie Cieplinski and Madison Rose Cieplinski.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, pancan.org.
