Jack was full of life, always willing to help anyone in need. He had lifelong relationships with friends back from grade school and on. He was a loyal husband and father and a proud Marine Corp Veteran, who valiantly served our country in the Vietnam War. Jack’s experience in the Marines played a major role in his life. He frequently pointed out that the Marines taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and investing in a cause larger than himself. He would often explain to loved ones how these values contributed to his successes in life and he raised his children with those same values. Jack was one of the first founding members of the Vietnam Veterans of Central Florida (VVCF) which was established in 1982. He served multiple times as their president and dedicated 30+ years to the organization.
Jack also had passions for trucking, motorcycles, fishing and boating and had dreams of traveling the country with his wife in their RV. His family and friends will truly miss all his stories and his contagious smile. Jack was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever he went. His family, friends and extensive family in Scotland will always carry their memories of Jack in their hearts and he will be missed by us all greatly!
