migrated to the United States where he settled in New York City. He would eventually proudly work for New York-based

Joseph’s favorite activities were: caring for his family, taking road trips to spoil his grandchildren and visit relatives,
watching his favorite basketball and soccer teams play (Orlando Magic and Germany’s national football team), and
following his favorite players wherever they were (T-Mack, D-Wade, LeBron). Joseph also enjoyed attending church,
taking excursions with his loving wife, Micheline Jean-Pierre, and attending sports games and stage performances by his
grandchildren. Among his fondest memories are the many weekend trips from Queens to Brooklyn, Long Island, Upstate

and were well cared for.
