Obituary for Joseph Robert Minor
Joseph Robert Minor, 88 of Winter Springs FL, passed peacefully in his sleep
on Friday, March 13th, 2020. He is survived by his Wife Collita, Daughter Teruko, Grandchildren Eric and Erika, Brother Norman & (Denise) Minor, and Sister Dottie.
Joe retired from the Navy after 22 years on submarines. He served on the
USS Dace, the USS Robert E. Lee and the USS Seawolf. He retired as Master Chief
which was the highest enlisted rank in the U.S. Navy.
He was known to all as the nicest and kindest man you will ever meet. After
retiring from the military, he often donated his time to help with repairs needed
in his community and was always just a phone call away. Many around him felt he
was a member of their own family, as his heart always gave to those in need and
his generous, positive spirit brightened up every room he entered. He was loved
by all and will be missed dearly.
