Obituary for Joseph Sherwood Grey
​It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Joseph Sherwood Grey. Joseph passed peacefully in the early morning on January 28th. Joseph was born February 3rd, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. He was one of nine siblings and is survived by three of his nine siblings; Joan, Julia and Eddy.
​After graduating high school Joseph joined the Marine Corps and served in Korea. After leaving the Marine Corps he returned home, fell in love with and married Anna Perkernski who he is survived by after 63 years of marriage. Anna and Joseph moved to Florida to raise a family and is survived by their three children Joseph (wife Theresa), Thomas (wife Cynthia ) and Dianna (wife Michelle). Joseph has three grandchildren; Emily (husband Carter Howard), Oliver and Sarah. He also has three great grand children Elias, Holly and Jonah.
​Joseph loved all sports and when younger participated in baseball, boxing, boating and scuba diving. He worked in various occupations during his life, from the New York stock exchange while in New York to the service industry and he retired from Hobart Corporation. Most of all he loved his family. He was kind, generous and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
