Obituary for Judy Lezotte
Geraldine “Judy” Lezotte, 83, of Orlando, lost her long battle with cancer on July 19, 2019. She was surrounded by her family in her home.
Judy was born to the late Richard and Mary Louise Brown on August 1, 1935, in Waterbury, Connecticut. Judy was the eldest of six children Thomas R. Brown, Richard A. Brown, Donald A. Brown, Kathleen L. Lagasse, and Arlayne F. (Bonnie) Skridulis

Judy married Edward Lezotte on July 9th, 1960 after a five-year courtship. Ed was soon transferred to Upstate New York for work. Once they were settled, they wanted to start a family. They welcomed four beautiful babies into their lives. Judy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She opened a home daycare once her children were in school. Before Judy had grandchildren of her own she was Nana to many children. Judy and Ed moved to Orlando in 1996, their children followed soon after.

Judy was blessed with four grandchildren; she especially loved her role as Nana. Judy had a way of making everyone in her presence feel loved.

Judy is survived by four children: Kevin Michael Lezotte, Charleen Friese, Edward Lezotte Jr and Douglas Lezotte. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Kiley Lezotte, Kandy Lezotte, Logan Lezotte, and Caitlyn Lezotte. Judy was preceded by both her parents and her brothers Thomas Brown and Richard Brown.
Services for Geraldine “Judy” Lezotte will be held on Thursday, July 25th 10:00 am (calling hours starting at 9:00 am in the Chapel) at St. Stephen Catholic Community. There will be a reception immediately following at the Conference Center behind the church. https://www.st-stephen.com/
Judy’s favorite color was red so please help celebrate her life by wearing something in that color.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in her name to Advent Health Hospice. They were wonderful to Mom and the entire family in her last days with us. https://donation.adventhealth.com/…/controller/Donation/act… You can also donate to Judy’s granddaughter, Caitlyn’s non-profit Kindness Please . She has handmade cards for patients fighting cancer to remind them no one fights alone. www.KindnessPlease.com
