Obituary for Kaitlyn Karlowicz
Kaitlyn “Katie” Grace Karlowicz,,age 28 of Oviedo FL, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 12, 2020.
Katie was born on March 08, 1992 in Bristol Connecticut to Steven M. Karlowicz Sr and Paula Lynn Morrone. She moved to Oviedo FL in 2004 and was graduate of Haggerty High School in Oviedo Fl. She also attended Seminole State College.
Katie was a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a unique, bubbly personality and lit up the room with her amazing smile. She enjoyed her career in customer service for various employers in the Orlando / Oviedo area. She was loved and will be missed by everyone that had the opportunity to know her. Her early years were spent boating on the Connecticut River with her mother, brother Steven and her father. In her later years she spent her time at the beach, with friends and family anytime she had the chance. Her biggest joy in life was her son Ryder and being with him brought her great joy.
Katie is survived by her son Ryder S. Moore 3, of Umatilla, FL. Her mother Paula Lynn (James W.) Khoenle of Umatilla, FL. Her father Steven M. (Rebecca) Karlowicz Sr. of East Haddam, Connecticut. Her Sister Marianna F. (Quinton) Bowman and her brother Edward A. Cook Jr both of Umatilla, FL. Her grandfather Daniel A Morrone Sr of Bristol Connecticut. Stepsisters Jannessa O. (John) Pitman of Umatilla, FL and Ashley (Tim) Sehl and Melissa Hall of Colchester Connecticut. Vannessa Nolen of Ohio and Stepbrother Matthew Hall of New Jersey. Along with various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins throughout the United States.
Proceeding her in death are her brother Steven M. Karlowicz Jr of Ellington Connecticut whom she adored, paternal Grandparents Robert & Cecile Karlowicz Sr of Ellington, Connecticut, Her maternal Grandmother Kay Morrone of Oveido, FL., and her paternal Aunt Lori Caya of East Hampton, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the GoFundMe, Ryder S. Moore Education Fund, set up for her sons Ryders future education.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be Saturday Nov 21st, 2 PM at Jolly Gator Fish Camp, 4650 FL – 46, Geneva, FL 32732 and Funeral Mass will be Monday Nov 23rd, 1 PM at St Stephen’s Cathoilc Church, 575 Tuskawilla Rd, Winter Springs, FL 32708.
