Larry Dean Lewis passed away on September 28, 2023, in Orlando, FL at ORMC after struggling with health issues for a while. He was born in Dayton, OH on January 22, 1958, to Wilma Hunter and Dean Lewis. He was a loving Father, son, and “Papa” to his grandchildren. Those that loved him didn’t want to let him go but it was apparently his time.
He was a long haired, rock-loving guitar playing youth, but after having his daughters, he earned a good living as a construction and aerial equipment salesman. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He was a member of and President of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOPA) Lodge 25.
He had a passion to help others and changed so many lives for the better.
No amount of time would have been enough for his wisdom and loving soul, but it was his time for peace.
Survived by and Desperately missing him are his daughters Tara Mccard, Tonia Zelik, and Mandy Lewis. Also survived by and mourning him deeply are his mother, Wilma Hunter; brothers, David Lewis and Denny Lewis; and beloved grandchildren Briana Zelik and Dylan Zelik
He is preceded in death by Dad; Dean Lewis and Brother; Gary Lewis
A Celebration of Life will be held on 10/28/23 at 10:30 am-12:30 pm for family and friends at Pinecastle Women’s Club (5901 S Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL)
